Itinerary

After a warm greeting from our local experienced student guide, we will put on your helmet and start the motorbike journey through zig-zag Saigon streets and back alleys.

The first stop is the monument of a famous Vietnamese monk named Thich Quang Duc who burnt himself during the Vietnam War for justice. There you will learn more about hidden history of the city and the very hard time of Vietnamese people during the war.

Next, you will explore the local life at places where there are no tourists and you may be the only foreigner. Walking together through Old Apartment Area, you see the beautiful old part of the town. Trolling into the colorful Ho Thi Ky wholesale flower market, you immerse yourself in the local life. Here, you refresh with local iced sugarcane juice or fresh coconut. Your guide will explain to you how Saigoneses live, have fun and make their living.

After that, you continue your adventure in Saigon by motorbike through the back alleys of Saigon in Districts 10, 5, and 4, see slum areas and wet markets.

The next area to visit is District 5 which is also known as Saigon China Town. On the motorbike, you are driven through special markets such as the decoration market, Chinese herb market, and motorbike market,… A small pagoda is hidden in an alley with ten thousand beautiful Buddha statues and a peaceful atmosphere.

At a local coffee shop, your student guide will introduce to you the art of making coffee in Vietnamese style. Certainly, you will enjoy a cup of coffee while watching how locals spend their time at the coffee shop. You and your guide will have more time to talk together.

• Guest pickup is offered.
• We offer free pick-up at any place in Districts 1,3 and 4. An extra pick-up fee of 100.000VND (4.5USD) per tourist will be applied in case of pickup/drop-off in the other districts.
